Fried Liver and Onions recipe (Main Dish)

2 lb liver
some   pepper
2 tablespoons oil
½   onion
½ teaspoons sugar

Saute onions in olive oil, add sugar and continue to saute until onions become soft. Cut liver into thin strips and add to onions. Cook on medium high heat for about 1 ½-2 minutes each side, until done. Serve immediately with rice or french fries as a main course.
