Tuna Casserole recipe (Casserole)

Yield: 6 servings

3 cans (6 ounce) tuna, drained
3 cups macaroni
1   small onion
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 can (10 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
½ cups sour cream
3 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
¼ cups fresh bread crumbs
½ cups mozzarella cheese, grated
some   Salt and pepper, to taste

Boil macaroni until tender, rinse in cold water, and drain.

Melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in skillet and add onion. When onions are translucent, add fresh mushrooms and cook until tender.

In a medium-size casserole dish, combine macaroni, onion and mushroom mixture, tuna, mushroom soup, sour cream, salt and pepper.

Melt remaining butter and mix with bread crumbs. Sprinkle over top of casserole. Top with grated cheese and bake in for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.

I've made Tuna Casserole twice I added some garlic salt to the sauce and the casserole came out wonderful.

My friend uses for Tuna casserole Campbell cream of chicken soup instead of the mushroom soup. I like it.
