Fresh Apricot Cake recipe (Dessert)

YOU'LL NEED
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
some   salt
½ cups Butter, softened
¾ cups sugar
2   eggs
¼ teaspoons Almond extract
4   Fresh Apricots, thinly sliced (2 cups)
1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

Mix flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; set aside. Beat butter and ¾ cup sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in extract. Add flour mixture; beat just until blended.

Spread into prepared pan. Top with apricot slices; sprinkle with 1 Tb sugar.

Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
