Rockefeller Pumpkin Pie recipe (Pie)

½ cups heavy cream
½ cups milk
¾ cups dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
0.12 teaspoons ground cloves (1/2 t.)
1 teaspoon ground ginger
3   eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons applejack
cups pureed pumpkin (16 oz. can)

1. Combine cream, milk, brown sugar, cinnamin, cloves and ginger in a large mixing bowl.

2. Stir thoroughly and then add eggs and applejack.

3. Stir in the pumpkin.

4. Pour into pie shell.

5. Bake 40 minutes or longer until filling is firm and the center of the pie barely quivers when the pie plate is moved gently back and forth.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream flavored with sugar
