Chicken Liver Pate recipe (Breakfast)

1.4 lb chicken livers
8 oz cream cheese
2 tablespoons dry sherry
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
1   chopped clove garlic
1 tablespoon butter
some   hot sause
some   salt and pepper

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic, onion and chicken livers. Simmer approximately 10 min.
Place chicken liver mixture in a blender with dry sherry, cream cheese, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl, cover and chill in the refrigerator approximately 2 hours before serving.
