Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°. Oil a 2 quart casserole. Set aside. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, bring juice to simmer. Add onion, celery and apple. Cook, stirring frequently, until onion softens, about 5 to 8 minutes. Add water, bread cubes and prunes or raisins, cook 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in sage thyme and salt and pepper. Spoon into casserole. Bake uncovered until lightly browned and crisp on top,25 to 30 minutes. Make 4 servings.
