Whipped Cream recipe (Dessert)


Yield: 12 servings

1 pint heavy cream, very cold
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla (optional)

Place 2 qt. bowl and mixer beaters i the freezer
This recipe can be prepared from 5 minutes to 4 hours before serving.

1. Put cream in chilled bowl and then place that bowl in a larger bowl that has cold water in it.

2. Run the mixer at medium high until cream starts to thicken.

3. Sprinkle in the sugar and add the vanilla, if using.

4. Set the mixer on high and continue until the cream holds soft peaks.

Mixing can take up to 15 minutes with a hand mixer
