Pasta Cavatelli And Three Cheeses recipe (Pasta)


2 tablespoons butter
8 oz cavatelli
2 tablespoons flour
some   salt and pepper
0.12 teaspoons nutmeg
2 cups milk
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cups grated Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta. Rinse with cold water; drain.
For cheese sauce in a saucepan melt butter. Stir in flour, salt, nutmeg, and pepper. Add milk. Cook and stir over medium heat till mixture is thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Stir in cream cheese and mozzarella cheese. Gently fold the cooked cavatelli into the cheese sauce. Turn mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake in a 350°F oven about ½ hours.
