Latkes, or Potato pancakes recipe (Breakfast)


Yield: 10 pieces

cups grated and squeezed potatoes
¾ cups dry bread crumbs
1   egg
1   small grated onion
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoons sage
½ teaspoons salt
some   pepper

Mix all ingredients until well blended. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto hot, greased skillet. Spread the batter and brown pancakes on both sides.
Serve hot with butter.
