Grilled Chicken Pizza recipe (Pizza)


Yield: 4 servings

2   boneless chicken breasts
½ cups BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1   green bell pepper
4   pita breads
4 oz chopped green chilies
1 cup shredded cheddar
4 oz chopped mushrooms
1/3 cups real bacon bits
1   onion

Preheat the grill to a moderate heat. Rub the olive oil over the chicken. Sear it for a couple of minutes on each side on the grill, and then rub ⅔ of the BBQ sauce over it. Keep cooking the chicken until the juices run clear from the thickest part of it. Cut it into pieces.
Spread the rest of the BBQ sauce over the pita breads, and then add the chicken, onion, bell pepper, bacon, mushrooms, chilies and cheddar. Put the pizzas on an grill rack and cook for about 8 minutes over a low flame until the vegetables are still crisp but tender and the cheese has melted.
