InstructionsPlace ham in standard crock-pot. Arrange orange and lemon slices alternately over ham. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over top of citrus slices and ham. Then lightly sprinkle a few teaspoons of ginger ale over brown sugar before pouring the rest of the ginger ale around sides of ham so liquid covers bottom of crock-pot. (Evenly distribute the gingerale on all sides of the ham.) Place three or four cloves in ginger ale, and cover crock-pot. Cook on high for first hour, and then low for next four or five hours. Remove ham and place on platter. Let stand 10-15 minutes before slicing. |
