Chipotle Hummus recipe (Snack)


Yield: 12 servings

2 cans garbanzo beans
2 teaspoons cumin powder
some   salt and pepper
1/3 cups lemon juice
¼ cups olive oil
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1/3 cups tahini
4   whole chipotle chiles in adobo sauce

Puree all ingredients except bean liquid in a food processor.
Gradually add the minimum amount of chickpea liquid required to give the mixture a thick, creamy, smooth consistency.
Blend until all graininess is gone.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
