Chicken and Mushroom Pasta recipe (Pasta)


400 g thinly sliced chicken breast
10   button mushrooms
some   bacon
1   red capsicum
1   sliced large onion
3   chopped cloves of garlic
1 cup cream
½ cups white wine
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
some   salt and pepper
some   chopped chilli, celery, carrot, zucchini, sun-dried tomato, olives

Heat the oil in a large saute or fry-pan and gently saute the onion and garlic. Add the chicken to the pan and cook it over medium heat. Add the mushroom, capsicum and bacon.
Cook pasta according to the packet directions. Add the cream to the chicken/veg mix, along with the wine, the Dijon mustard and the salt and pepper.
Boil it for as long as it takes for the sauce to reach your desired thickness. Drain the pasta and toss it into the pan with the pasta sauce. Turn the heat off.
