Carrot Casserole recipe (Side Dish)


8 oz cheese
12   Large Carrots sliced in rounds
1   onions minced
cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoons pepper
½ teaspoons celery salt
2 cups milk
3 cups soft bread crumbs
¾ teaspoons dry mustard

Steam carrots until half done.Saute onions in butter. Mix flour, salt, dry mustard, pepper and celery salt. Add to sauted onions add cook for a couple of minutes then add milk and stir until smooth. Layer carrots,then some cheese. Keep making layers of carrots and cheese. Pour onions sauce over carrots and cheese. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 50 or 55 minutes.
